Sandra Terdjman has spent two decades building platforms where artists, thinkers, and communities meet across borders and disciplines. She supports the role of arts and culture in society through organizations she co-founded: KADIST, one of the largest collections and platforms for contemporary art where she now serves as Vice President; Council that supported multidisciplinary projects at the crossroads of art, science, and civil society (from 2013 until 2023); and AFIELD, an international network supporting artists and cultural practitioners whose social initiatives are creating long-term, tangible change within their communities, which she chairs. Her recent curatorial work includes a 2025 public forum on “transitional justice” and “systems change” by artists at KANAL Centre Pompidou in Brussels, and Résidence Tallard, a new residency for ideas in Paris. She is co-editor of Autonomous Agents: Artists on Human–Machine Interaction (Pacific, 2026, with Simon Castets, Taeyoon Choi, and Joseph del Pesco) and of the forthcoming *Artist-Led Transitional Justice (AFIELD and Mousse Publishing, 2027, with Taeyoon Choi and Chantal Wong). She is recognized for her long-term, research-driven support for artists and for imagining frameworks that are expansive, inclusive, and generative of artist-led social transformation. She has collaborated with institutions worldwide, including the Musée de l’Homme (Paris), Centre Pompidou (Paris), KANAL (Brussels), Bergen Assembly (Norway), Garage (Moscow), Ashkal Alwan (Beirut) and documenta fifteen (Kassel). Sandra received the Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award in 2019, and the Art Basel Visionary Award in 2025.
